There is parking for three cars on the driveway.  Please no parking on the lawn.

All security deposits will be refunded within 7 days of check-out.  Deductions may be taken at the owner's discretion for damage and excess cleaning fees.

The Naked Bean

Check-in information will be emailed a few days prior to arrival 


The house comes with everything you would need to prepare your favorite gourmet meal or a peanut and butter sandwich if that is your thing.

Come enjoy a game or cards with family and friends at the large table in the screen porch or take a nap on the  "I want one" hanging bed.  Even the strongest succumb to the gentle sway from the the fresh ocean breeze. 

Please note that there are cameras on the front and back exterior (only) of the house for security purposes.     

We welcome children at the Naked Bean. We just ask that parents child-proof the home when they arrive since they know their children best and return everything to their proper places before they leave.  Please just understand that parents will be financially responsible for any damage done by their children. 

We do not accept pets but for those who are highly allergic to dogs, we do sometimes bring our own dogs with us when we stay at the house.  Though we clean it thoroughly each time, there may be hair or dander left behind.

The house may work for people with mobility issues, however, even though the house is one level, there are a number of steps to reach the front door from the ground level.  Please see the pictures of the front of the house.

Guests have access to Netflx and Hulu on the Roku tv.  Link your music to the Echo to play from the blue tooth speakers or just ask Alexa to play a specific song or genre.  Have fun and ask her to tell you a joke.  

I love to travel but I feel most comfortable in my little house by the ocean on Oak Island. I rent it out so that others can share their love of travel with me.
